Shotshell Boxes

SHOTSHELL BOXES ALL ARE 12 GA AND EMPTY UNLESS SPECIFIED OTHERWISE.

WESTERN, SUPER-X. RED & WHITE 2 PC, THESE WERE ISSUED FOR OLIN'S 100TH ANNIVERSARY. ACTUALLY IT'S 2 BOXES IN ONE. OUTER box IS 10 GA SIZE, INNER HAS INFO ON SHOTSHELLS AND WINCHESTER HISTORY, FULL, SEALED AND ALREADY GROWING TOUGH TO FIND. NOTE ON BACK SAYS, "THESE SUPER-X SHELLS RESEMBLE EARLY 1922 VINTAGE PRODUCTION EXCEPT FOR USE OF MODERN INTERNAL COMPONENTS." WINCHESTER WENT TO SOME EXPENSE TO PRODUCE THESE SHELLS WHEN ISSUED 1992. THEY USED THEIR ORIGINAL HEADSTAMP, ROLL CRIMP AND PRINTED OVER-SHOT WAD JUST LIKE IN THE OLD DAYS. Still Sealed. Slight bump to lower left corner show is picture, else Mint. $50

Federal Cartridge Corp. Hi-Power. Pretty box with mallard in flight on front and back. This box is FULL and exceptionally clean. Light stains on top flap, back panel faded, otherwise this box is Near Mint. The white borders are still white, NOT yellowed as most of these boxes are. Colors on top, bottom, both sides and front are vivid, bright. Best one I have seen. $55

Sears Sportload. xtra-range. A serious load of max powder and 1 1/4 ounces of chilled 4's. Blue Canada goose on yellow background. Nice old box without serious blemishes. It's only fault is being aged and has some light surface grunge to proove it. Exc $50

Peters High Velocity. The very beautiful yellow and blue box with colorful drake mallard over cattails. 16 ga. Crisp, very bright, colors with minor edge wear. Exc. $45

Peters High Velocity. The very desirable 410 in the original oldest edition--before the new Peters crimp (ca 1937). White top. Minor corner wear. This box is almost as bright as the day it was printed. Has some original shells (it is shrunk wrapped and I never opened it to count them). Exc+ $90

Peters High Velocity. The very desirable 410. This is the deminutive 2 1/2" box, so small as too almost look like a miniature. It also, is the oldest version of the beautiful box, predating the improved crimp. Edges rubbed and colors not vivid, but still vg. $50

ECLIPSE CARTRIDGE CO. 12 ga. PRETTY BOX WITH QUAIL SCENE THAT WRAPS CONTINUOUSLY ALL THE WAY AROUND THE BOX. 20 ROUND. MID 1970'S I THINK, BUT UNUSUAL AND HAS long since BEEN DISCONTINUED. Unusual ALL PLASTIC SHELLS, no brass bases. Full box of 20, as issued. EXC-. $40

Brass Shot Shells. Remington-UMC, 12 ga Best all brass shot shells. No corrosion, exc condition. Have several. $9 each

BISMUTH CARTRIDGE CO. "NO TOX" THESE BOXES HAVE GONE THRU SEVERAL MINOR CHANGES OVER THE YEARS. HAVE AT LEAST FOUR VARIETIES TO CHOOSE FROM. EMPTY 10 ROUND BOX; EXC. EACH. $6
